This afternoon ,Wagtails class had great fun ,weighing various objects ,as part of this terms Science topic.

Reading Cafe. 04.11.24, WW1.Fistly,we would like to thank everyone for joining us.We read some of the book Archie’s War. Archie was a 10year old boy and crazy about comics in 1914, when his uncle gave him a scrap book...... Through the morning we enjoyed activities, including word searches, poppy making, labelling a soldiers uniform , map work and a quiz about WW1.

D T. Our focus in D T is to make a bag ,using felt and binka. We are using our sewing skill to achieve this .More pictures to follow.

Anti-bullying week, Children in need 15.11.24.

16.12.24 school visit to The Ancient House Museum Thetford. Learning focus WW1 .we had a wonderful time learning about life in the trenches,tank warfare ,entertainment in 1914 and much more.Thank you to all our helpers ,much apriecieated.

Mental heath week. 3.02.25

3.02.25 This week we have 5 visitors from 🇨🇳 China. These children are working in year 4&5. Both classes are learning about each other’s cultures and differences in their daily school life. For example ,the Chinese school day starts at 7.30am and finishes at 5.30pm.

7.02.25 Number day, we had great fun today, various activities including writing in Chinese ,also saying the numbers in Chinese. As we are very fortunate to have Chinese visitors for a week.

This afternoon , we were building city scapes from pieces of paper that we cut to shapes that we liked ,to represent buildings.Next we used water colours to create these pictures.

Thank you to all that attended the Science Cafe , we had a wonderful time learning about Tornados. We had a variety of activities including storm in a cup ,weather window catchers, Tornado cotton ,word searches and to finish off we had a quiz. Thank you to Mrs Ablitt for organising this event.

DT.14.03.25 The Glider Challenge. RAF road to riat . Today we have had an exciting day being Aircraft engineers ,we had a live streaming session with the small peice trust.( Charity) We have made gliders in class then we’re able to test the flight capability. Finally an evaluation of our designs.
