We are looking for a person to be a Cover Supervisor to cover classes as needed for 2 mornings per week. Term time only. You will be paid on E7, unless you have significant recent Cover Supervisor job experience in a paid position (rises annually up to E11 if targets are achieved). E7 is £13.2609 per hour. 7 hours 20 minutes per week. (7.33). Both mornings you will start at 8.40am and finish at 12.20pm. In the mornings you would be providing cover, sometimes at short notice, for any of the 6 classes, under the direction of the teacher, likely through written instructions. If cover is not needed that day you will be given work to do, often it will involve working with SEND children. To start 2nd June. Role until April 2026. If funding is available it will then be extended. Which days you work is up for some negotiation. Experience in that same role would be wonderful but it is not necessarily required. You must have been employed as a Classroom Teaching Assistant for at least one term or have completed a good amount of voluntary work in a primary aged setting.
This job would combine well with our part time HLTA job.

We are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to teach 4 afternoons per week for next term then 3 afternoons per week after that. Term time only. You will be paid on F12, unless you have significant recent HLTA job experience in a paid position (rises annually up to F17 if targets are achieved). 4 afternoons is 8 hours 20 minutes per week, starting at 1.10pm, teaching until 3.15pm then ppa time (25 minutes). F12 is £14.3633 per hour. You would be responsible for planning for, teaching and marking the work for designated classes each week, of any age. To start 2nd June. The 3 afternoons is a permanent role. Which days you work is up for some negotiation. You must have already worked as a class based Teaching Assistant for at least one year and I will assess your suitability to be an HLTA during the interview. If we are unsure as to the suitability of an applicant, after interview, a temporary position might be offered instead.
