On Friday we planted the broad beans we have been growing, into the vegetable box at the front of the school.
Our science topic this term is all about plants. We are growing sunflowers and broad beans in different conditions. Some have started to grow 🌻

Today in our science lesson,we made penetrometers . We used these to measure the soil density around the school.

Egyptian dancIng!
Today we had a dance lady in to visit us. We learnt all about Egyptian dancing, which is linked to our topic.
We made Egyptian plaques with our names on, using hieroglyphics instead of our alphabet.

In our RE lessons we have been learning about the Christmas story. When we visited the church, we looked at the stained glass windows and made our own .
We have written persuasive adverts to persuade you to come to our carol service.
We have been learning about soil in Science.
We have made Christmas bunting for the starlight charity. It will be sent off to decorate hospital wards.
We held our reading cafe on November 16th. Thank you to all our parents who were able to attend. We had a lovely afternoon.

Healthy eating day
We have been learning about healthy eating today. We had lots of fun 😄

Today we visited the forest where the Big Bad Wolf met Red Riding Hood. We used our five senses to help us describe our surroundings. We will be using these to help in our English writing .
