Weekly Expected Other

wb 21st February

We are now in the second half-term, counting down to Easter. There are some extra mathletics activities set for those who may be accessing them over half-term. These either recap previous learning or link direct with what we've done the last few days.

With our topic being World War II - it would be great if some children could research their family tree and potentially see how World War II impacted their families. We would love to see the outcomes in class. So many children are engaged by this topic and there are many projects that can be completed - making spitfires, a 3d shelter etc etc. Anything that children choose to complete please send in so we can celebrate their achievements. This is of course all optional but with so many interested in this period of history, I wanted to make sure you had options if needed.

Any questions please use the home communication book.

Wow - some fantastic scores last week with mathletics. Our learning on graphs continues and this weeks learning is based around this with some links to percentages. There are also some quests that have been set - good luck and keep up the hard-work.

Remember to use Times Tables Rock Stars (ttrockstars.com) too - can you beat my score?

wb 31st January

This week we are moving our learning on by looking at charts and interpreting these. The mathletics challenges this week focus around this as well as some recapping around time.

Keep up practising on Times Table Rock Stars your scores each week in class continue to go up. If you need a reminder of log ins please let us know through your home communication book.

Looking forward to awarding some star points for your achievements.
