Good morning Owls,

If you fancy entering a competition have a look at the website below. It is a list of science based fun. You could enter a competition to design your own robot or create your own animal. There are also lots of art competitions out there too which I know a lot of you will enjoy.

How many times can you write each word in a minute?
In the next few lessons, we are going to be putting together all the things we have been practising, like expanded noun phrases and adverbs, into a description. If you have it, you may want to get your story map out.
When you are writing your description, what are the things we should always remember?
- Capital letters
- Full stops
- Finger spaces
When you have finished your description and you are going back through, make sure you check these things.
Today we are going to carry on adding 2 digit numbers. When you do the activity, remember to draw your 10s and 1s.
Can you remember what we are learning about? We are learning about the United Kingdom. Which countries are in the United Kingdom? Watch the video below to remind yourself. Then, using Google Maps or an atlas, I would like you to find out the capital cities for each country and the seas that surround the UK. Once you have completed that, read the short fact file and answer the questions. You can complete these activities by printing them out or by clicking on the link and completing them online.
