Good morning Owls!
Did you know that next Thursday, 4th March, is World Book Day? Unfortunately, we won't be in school to dress up but there is a story writing competition where you could win a voucher! You can write about anything you would like.
If you are a bit stuck why not get some tips from real life children's author David Walliams. You will need an adult to sign up but it is free.
Mia and Hobbes are really interested to hear your amazing stories. Look, they are waiting very patiently.
How do you know when you have learnt something new?
To practise your spellings, write each letter in a different colour.
Can you remember what we are learning all about in this unit? Witches! What type of text are we using to learn all about witches? We are using a non-chronological report or information text. In the lesson today, you wont need to write anything. You will need your map from yesterday though as you are going to practise the text.
Today we are going to continue to practise diving by 5. Why not log on to rock stars and have a go at practising some of your times tables. Listen to the song below to practise your 5 times tables. When you are ready, have a go at the activities. If you are feeling confident, why not have a go at the challenge.
Can you remember the story of the Good Samaritan? Read the story to remind yourself and have a go at answering the questions.
Why not make your own bookmark.
