    Registering for School Meals

We use SchoolGrid to manage our school meal bookings. All parents and carers are asked to register their child online so meals can be selected in advance. SchoolGrid allows you to view menus, choose meals and make payments easily and securely.

Further details on how to register, and registering for lunch, can be found here.

    Free School Meals

Your child may be eligible for Free School Meals depending on your circumstances. Even if your child is entitled to Universal Infant Free School Meals (Reception to Year 2), registering for Free School Meals can provide additional funding to support your child’s learning.

We strongly encourage all eligible families to apply. Information about eligibility and how to apply is available via Norfolk County Council.

    Healthy Packed Lunches

If your child brings a packed lunch, we encourage families to provide a healthy, balanced meal to support learning and concentration throughout the day.

A healthy packed lunch should include:

    • A source of protein (e.g. lean meat, egg, beans or cheese)

    • A starchy food (e.g. wholegrain bread, wraps, pasta or rice)

    • Fresh fruit and/or vegetables

    • A dairy item (e.g. yoghurt or cheese)

    • Water or a healthy drink (no fizzy drinks)

We kindly ask that sweets, chocolate bars and energy drinks are not included.

If you have any questions about school meals or packed lunches, please contact the school office — we are happy to help.
