Welcome to our home learning page. On this page, I will post activities that you can do at home every week day. Generally, they will follow the routine timetable that we would be following in school. The work set will consist of a range of things from games, videos, written tasks and worksheets. How you complete these is up to you. You may wish to use the lined book that was sent home with you on Wednesday. Alternatively, you may prefer to print the activity out and complete it. To assist you with the work set, a learning pack was sent home on Friday. This included a range of strategies such as phonic sound cards, spelling mats, 100 square, ruler and calculation strategies. Use these to help you with your work. Don’t forget, you were also given your own account to Feed the Monster, Times Table Rock Stars and Purple Mash.
I understand that this is going to be different and sometimes difficult. Within school, I would differentiate work so that it was at the right level of challenge for you. This is going to be more difficult to do. If you are struggling, take a break, use your learning pack or ask someone. If it is maybe too easy, create yourself a challenge. Please don’t worry if you can’t access a piece of work. If there is an issue contact the office and we will see what we can do.
Remember, to take care of yourselves. Keep washing your hands. You do not have to complete all of the work at once. If you do get ill, focus on making yourself better. Don’t forget to have breaks just like we do at school.
If you get bored, below are some useful links and ideas which can be done at any point. Keep an eye on these as the list may be updated with new content.
Look after yourselves,
We miss you, but we will see you soon!
