Good morning Owls,

Well done! You have made it to the end of a very strange week! Thank you to those who have sent in photos and work. I am really impressed.

If you haven't sent anything in, I would love to see some of the work that you have completed! Please send me a photograph or a copy of a piece of work so I can see how you are getting on. If you have any questions or feedback on the home learning please do let me know. Alternatively, if you have any problems accessing the online learning there are printed home learning packs available in school.

Stay safe and I hope you have a lovely weekend,

Miss Stevenson, Mrs Parkinson and Miss Raven

Ask someone to test you on the spellings that we have been looking at this week. Let me know how you did.

Can you create your own superhero pet like Sammy Exceptional? Draw it first and think about its name and superpowers. Don’t forget to label it. Then I would like you to create a fact file on your superhero pet. You could use the template below, draw your own or create it on Purple Mash or on Word.

In your fact file you must include:

  • Superhero pet name
  • Superpower
  • How it helps people
  • Special clothing
  • Favourite superfood
  • A fascinating fact

Today continues on from the lesson yesterday. Have a go at the game to practise identifying odd and even numbers. Then click on the link to watch the lesson before completing the activity. If you feel confident, then have a go at the challenge.

In Computing we are going to learn how to code. Do you know what a code is? Click on the bitesize link below to find out.

Now log in to your Purple Mash account and click on the ‘2Dos’ box which is at the top left of your screen. There should be 3 tasks there. Start with the fish one first. See if you can code the fish to move. There are video instructions which appear when you open up the task. When you have completed the task, have a go at the other two.

Optional Extras

Try your own magic appearing picture using paper towels, water and felt pens. Watch the video below for instructions and ideas.
