I was really entertained reading about the characters you created yesterday. Today's lesson should help you to practise your dialogue (speech) punctuation, which will be a very important skill, when you are writing your own Dilemma stories.

Imagine the TV has disappeared from your house. Can you write dialogue (speech) for what everyone in your family would say and the police officer if you want to include one. Remember you must punctuate it using "    " inverted commas. 


For example:


Miss Martin sprinted into her front room, " Oh my goodness! It's really gone. What am I going to do now?" she wailed!
